Michael Cohen, who served as Donald Trump’s lawyer and fixer for greater than a decade, had a stark suggestion for attorneys who could also be contemplating working with the previous president.
As Trump reportedly faces imminent costs over a hush-money fee to grownup actor Stormy Daniels, which noticed Cohen himself convicted and despatched to jail, the lawyer advised MSNBC’s Chris Hayes on Friday:
“The neatest factor {that a} lawyer can do, if Donald Trump asks you to signify him on this nightmare that he’s going to be residing: run.”
“Run as quick as you’ll be able to. And don’t run to Florida and particularly not Palm Seashore. Run someplace east or west, however undoubtedly don’t become involved with Donald. That’s what I might say,” he added.
Cohen mentioned Trump till now had averted accountability and all the time thrown these surrounding him below the bus.
The revolving door of legal professionals now working with Trump was a “clown present,” Cohen continued. He imagined them “popping out of a Mini Cooper with floppy footwear and a purple nostril as a result of what they’re saying is not sensible.”
